Noah loves, loves, loves his Aunt Meg. She'll call and say, "Um, I haven't seen Noah in a while, so can he come spend the weekend with me?" Noah's mommy loves, loves, loves Aunt Meg, too!!!
Anyhoo, he'll be spending the weekend with her soon and they had this conversation on the phone about what they wanted to do during their weekend together. A couple of days later Noah asked me to help him on the computer. He found and e-card on Nick Jr. com and typed a note to her. All he needed from me was her e-mail address. I read the note he wrote and it totally cracked me up!! Here it is:
dear ant megen, i can not wait to go to your house! (that's the good news) here's the bad news, you know how me and you talked on the phone and you ordered some netflix movies? (for example, bridge to tarabethea) well, here's the thing, when you get a netflix movie, woach (however you spell that word) you woach it, and send it back to netflix to get a new one! (more bad news) i am trying to get out of feeding frenzy 2 shipwhenk showdown but i am stuck on stage 45! could you help? bye! love noah
How cute is that??!?? My 7 year old knows how to correctly use commas?? When did that happen? (the word "woach" is how he spelled "watch").

Such a cute letter from Noah. Maybe I can be second favorite aunt when I move - in a few months! I'll call you soon so we can finalize things and talk about dates (that is days and months, not outings with the opposite sex. What are those??) Hopefully, you haven't changed your mind about letting me stay there for a little while :-) (I'm smiling and grimacing.) I can't wait to be closer.
I'm with you on the strawberries thing. I could eat my weight in them and then some but can't stand strawberry ice cream. Maybe I can't stand that my favorite fruit has been smashed and mutilated. And I never thought about the scrapbooking and the clutter. I'm exactly the same way (except for my car which I can't keep clean to save my life.)
awwww yayyyyy!! props to Ant Megen!! I live to hang out with Noah, we have a nice little bond :) Can't wait to chill out next weekend and watch some fun littles with him. I'm sure there will be several trips to Starbucks, Blockbuster, and Red Robin to make sure we cram in....oh yeah, and lest we forget the inevitable Chick-Filet playground....
Now, now I didn't say anything about Noah having a favorite aunt! He truly loves ALL of his aunts! He is a lucky little boy!!
We are looking forward to having you stay with us! We can't wait for you to be closer, too! I just hope you don't want to "sleep in" on the weekends! You know how excited the boys are when you're here!
