Noah has had a front tooth on the bottom row that has been loose for....ev....er. His permanent tooth actually came in behind this tooth. He tells me on Friday that his tooth is very loose, but he wanted to give it a bit more time to come out by itself. Yesterday morning (Saturday) he comes into my bedroom and says, "Mom, I found something hard in my mouth and I think it might be my tooth." Indeed, it was! He was SOOO excited! The tooth fairy did come and left some money and fairy dust. Pics to come....

Yeah! How exciting for Noah! Yet another example of how being a mom never means JUST being a MOM...now you have to be a fairy, too!! Luckily they get to wear those cool wings and have fairy dust. At least it's a job with perks!!
That's so exciting for him! But just beware of letting permanent teeth come in. I ended up in braces for 6 years because that is how all of mine came in. It was a very traumatizing moment in my life to have to walk into the 6th grade with metal in my mouth because the orthodontist said it couldn't wait. No spacers, nothing - I walked out with braces that same day. I got over it eventually though and the braces came off right before my senior pictures!
No worries though. I'm sure Noah doesn't have the messed up mouth that I had. Hope the tooth fairy treats him well!
