Nathan is 4!

For some reason, I'm not able to upload any pics. Will try tomorrow...

I can't believe my little one is 4! Seriously, when did this happen? There are so many fantastic, wonderful things about him!

A Few of the Reasons Why Nathan is FANTASTIC!!

* when I come home he comes running to me from wherever he is in the house, has his arms wide open and yells, "Mmmmmmmmmoooooooommmmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyyy!" I love it!

* he is a snuggler/cuddler. He's always saying, "Mom, will you hold me?"

* he is a compassionate kid. when he sees someone sad he really wants to make it all better. One of his pre-school teachers last year is diabetic. She keeps apple juice in a drawer in her file cabinet in the classroom in case she needs it. She told me that one day she was working on an art project with one of the kids and she began to feel dizzy. She just sat there for a few minutes and from across the room, Nathan came over and asked her if he could get her apple juice for her. She said that she never told the kids about her diabetes or what the apple juice is for. She couldn't believe that he asked her that and felt that he just sensed that something wasn't right. At the end of the year she told me that that same situation happened a few more times throughout the year.

* in his world, band-aids heal all.

* he loves to play outside and do anything relating to sports

* Nathan is a great helper! He carries in grocery bags, takes laundry out of the dryer, etc.

* he can be stubborn and bull-headed, but I think in today's world that it's a trait that will benefit him as he grows.

* I'll say, "Nathan, kiss your guns!" and he'll kiss each bicep and then show his muscles (like the Hulk) and grunt "huuuuuuuuuuu". It's too cute!

* he wubs his Aki (elephant)

My favorite Nathan story: One day in Primary I sat next to him and asked him to be quiet. He glared at me and "flicked" me on the forehead. I was laughing so hard I had to leave Sharing Time. HB, little guy!
